I love reading!
And as a teacher, I know how valuable it is to share stories with children.
Not only does sharing a book with your child help to develop their imagination and language skills. I also know those minutes of reading together is a special bonding time full of truly magical moments.
In fact, I really believe you should start reading with your baby from day one. It’s good for your baby’s brain and there are so many magical baby books to enjoy together!
While I love all kinds of children’s books, I really enjoy the opportunity to enjoy a special seasonal book around holidays like Christmas and Easter.
Springtime and Easter mean fresh flowers, new life, gardening, and the occasional rabbit. They all add up to be fabulous ingredients for charming Easter books for kids of all ages.
In this list, I’ve curated some classic favorites, some characters you may have met before, and some new stories. All of these suggestions are intent on helping you celebrate a very happy Easter with your little Easter bunny!

32 of the Best Easter Books for Kids
Before I dive in with my recommendations, it’s worth noting a few things.
Some of these Easter stories for kids are targeted to the baby age range. Whereas some of the children’s Easter books are more suited to toddlers and older minds.
We’ve found some beautiful, tactile board books, where little fingers can touch textures and life flaps. Older children will enjoy repeated refrains and rhyming patterns in some of the preschool Easter books we have selected.
Despite trying to categorize them for you, they are all wonderful stories. Some of the ‘baby’ books can still be thoroughly enjoyed by toddlers too. I mean, who doesn’t love a lift-the-flap book?
Plus, durable board books are great for when preschool hands begin to learn to appreciate books independently, too.
In the toddler section, some of the books are ‘older’, but still nice to introduce during toddlerhood. These books are great because they’ll last well beyond preschool and through the early elementary years.
I think many of these books will become family favorites. No doubt, they’ll form part of your family Easter traditions each year!
